The Leonardo Museum in Vinci

Florence Institute and Museum of Science - Galileo Galilei

The  Science Museum in Florence holds a collection of about 5,000 old scientific instruments including the original Galilean telescope and lenses. A hall is devoted to showing the origins and historical development of the microscope. Another section shows electrostatic and electromagnetic instruments from the eighteenth century.
