How to reach Florence

The Airport of  Florence is located west of the town, near the beginning of
A-11 motorway.
People arriving at Pisa Airport can reach the center of Florence by train (65'), directly outside the airport, or by bus.


by train
Florence is located along one of the fastest and best served lines of the Italian Railways. Make sure to take a train to the Station "S. Maria Novella".

Hotel Demidoff is located 12 km North of Florence.

A special bus service (Hotel Demidoff shuttle + FLAIR buses) will be provided on Sunday, May 4, and on Friday, May 9, from the Railway Station of S. Maria Novella to the Hotel and viceversa.

The Bus stop is at the “Platform 16“ exit of the Railway Station (see the blue arrow in the photo on the right). Once in the Station, proceed along platform 16 until you find the beginning of platforms 17-18. Then take the descent on your right.

People arriving from Florence Airport by “Volainbus“ should get off the bus at the first stop, just outside the Railway Station (dark brown arrow).

 

At the end of the conference there will be a bus service leaving from Hotel Demidoff at 15:30, arriving at the “Platform 16“ stop.
